MadeThis Review: Is It Worth It in 2026? (After 90 Days)
I signed up for MadeThis 90 days ago. I wasn't sure it would stick — I'd tried other platforms before and always ended up frustrated by something.
Here's my honest review after three months of actual use, actual sales, and a few actual frustrations.
Why I Tried MadeThis in the First Place

I'd been selling digital products on a different platform for about a year. The product itself worked fine, but two things kept bothering me: the transaction fees were eating into my margins in a way that hurt every time I checked my dashboard, and the product pages looked... generic. Like a hundred other stores.
A creator I follow mentioned MadeThis in a post, specifically the no-transaction-fee structure and the AI co-founder feature. Both were enough to make me sign up for the free trial.
What I Actually Use It For
My digital product catalog has 8 products: five PDF guides, two template packs, and one short course. Prices range from $17 to $97.
On MadeThis, all eight live on product pages I built in about two hours total. The product page builder is genuinely the best I've used — the output looks like a real business, not a landing page someone threw together in an afternoon.
The Features That Made a Difference
No transaction fees. This is the main thing. On my old platform, I was paying a percentage on every sale. At my current volume (~$2,800/month in digital product revenue), the fee difference is meaningful — we're talking about $200+ per month I now keep instead of paying out.
The full comparison is at /madethis-pricing if you want to run the numbers on your own situation.
The AI co-founder. I was skeptical of this. It sounded like a gimmick. It's not. The AI co-founder helps me write product descriptions, draft email sequences, and troubleshoot my sales copy when things aren't converting. It's not magic, but it's better than staring at a blank page.
Product page quality. My product pages on MadeThis consistently convert better than my old platform pages did. I've A/B tested this by sending similar traffic to both. The difference is real enough that I've moved everything over.
What Doesn't Work as Well
Honestly? A few things.
The analytics dashboard is functional but not detailed. I want to see traffic sources, not just revenue. It's improving — there have been two updates in the 90 days I've been using it — but if you're a data nerd, you might find yourself wishing for more.
The built-in audience discovery (finding new buyers) is limited. MadeThis is excellent at converting traffic, but you're responsible for bringing traffic. That's fine if you have a traffic source (SEO, email list, social). It's a problem if you don't.
Is It Worth the Cost?
I pay for MadeThis monthly. I'll keep paying for it as long as my digital product revenue keeps exceeding what it costs by a significant margin — and right now it does.
The no-transaction-fee structure is the biggest financial argument. If you're selling $2,000/month in digital products and paying 5% fees on another platform, you're leaving $100/month on the table. At $5,000/month, that's $250/month. The math isn't complicated.

My Honest Bottom Line
MadeThis is worth it if:
- You're selling (or plan to sell) digital products consistently
- You want clean, professional product pages without hiring a designer
- You care about keeping more of every sale you make
It's probably not worth it if:
- You're just testing the idea of selling digital products and haven't validated demand yet
- You have no traffic strategy — the platform won't find buyers for you
For me, at 90 days in, I have no plans to switch. The economics are better, the product quality is better, and the AI tools are more useful than I expected.
