The AI Business Stack I Use to Run My Whole Business in 2 Hours a Day

Two hours a day sounds like a marketing claim. It's not.

Some days are longer when I'm launching a product or working on something new. But my baseline — keeping the business running, maintaining content output, handling customer questions — genuinely takes about two hours.

Here's the exact stack that makes that possible.

The Core Principle

Every tool in my stack earns its place by doing one of three things:

  1. Automating something that would otherwise take manual time
  2. Helping me create faster without sacrificing quality
  3. Giving me data I need to make better decisions

If a tool doesn't do one of those three things, it's not in my stack.

Layer 1: The Business Platform (30 min/week)

MadeThis — this is where my products live and where all revenue flows through.

Checkout, file delivery, customer management, storefront — all in one place. I check the dashboard a few times a week to see sales, handle any unusual customer requests, and review what's selling. The day-to-day just runs without me.

The full breakdown of what the platform offers is at /reviews/madethis. If you want to compare it to alternatives before committing, /madethis-alternatives covers the landscape.

Layer 2: Content Creation (45-60 min/day)

This is where most of my active time goes. Publishing content is how the business grows, so it's where I choose to spend energy.

ChatGPT + Claude — I use both for different things.

My daily content workflow:

  1. Open my list of planned post topics
  2. Ask ChatGPT to generate an outline for today's post (5 min)
  3. Write the post using the outline as a scaffold, adding my perspective and specific examples (40-50 min)
  4. Run it through Claude for a final edit/tighten pass (5-10 min)
  5. Publish

Before AI, this process took 3-4 hours per post. Now it takes 60-75 minutes. That difference, compounded over a year, is massive.

Layer 3: SEO Research (30 min/week)

Ahrefs — weekly keyword research session to fill my content calendar.

I spend 30 minutes on Mondays finding 3-5 topics to write about that week. Everything else is just execution.

Without this layer, I'd write content that no one is searching for. With it, every post is targeting something real.

Layer 4: Email (15 min/day)

My email list is a core business asset. But I don't spend much time on it daily.

The automated welcome sequence runs on its own. The only daily time is scanning replies (usually a few, mostly positive), looking for product ideas in questions people ask, and occasionally sending a new broadcast.

Broadcast emails: I draft them in ChatGPT, edit heavily to match my voice, and schedule them. Takes 20-30 minutes per email.

Layer 5: Social Media (20 min/day)

I'm not a social media maximalist. I pick one primary channel (currently Twitter/X), post once a day, and engage briefly.

My process: repurpose something from the blog post I wrote that day into a tweet or short thread. AI makes this fast — paste the blog excerpt, ask for a thread format, edit it.

Layer 6: Analytics (15 min/week)

Google Search Console + platform dashboard — that's it. I look at what's getting clicks, what's ranking, what's converting. Adjust strategy accordingly.

I don't check stats daily. That's a trap. Weekly is enough to spot trends.

The 2-Hour Breakdown

  • Content creation: 60-75 min
  • Email: 15 min
  • Social: 20 min
  • Admin/platform checks: 15 min
  • Weekly extras (SEO research, analytics): ~45 min spread across days

Total: ~1.75-2 hours/day average.

Some days are 3 hours when I'm working on a new product. Some days are 45 minutes when I'm just maintaining. The average is around two.

What Makes This Possible

The honest answer is: mostly AI tools + a platform that handles fulfillment automatically.

Before I adopted AI tools seriously, this business took 4-5 hours a day. The same output, the same revenue, the same quality — now in roughly half the time.

The platform matters too. Before MadeThis, I was manually handling download delivery, patching together payment processors, and dealing with fulfillment issues. That friction is gone now.

If your goal is a business that gives you time back, your platform and tools have to support that goal — not create overhead.
